Dego & The 2000 Black Family – ‘Don’t Stop (Let It Go)’

This is House music done right. Dego and The 2000 Black Family return with this impressive 12″ single. There is nothing that compares to the way these guys, and their UK brethren (namely the  Bugz in the Attic alum) combine live instrumentation with studio trickery in a manner that is reminiscent of Masters At Work. Some might argue that this music works better in a club then a festival, but I honestly think that we are under-estimating the audience as the trend towards Deep House continues to out pace the growth of what is commonly known as Festival House, in large part due to the success of Disclosure. If this trend continues then Club-friendly styles like Boogie House (and Nu-Disco) will be the logical, next in line sub-genre to rise. But that is just my opinion.
